Horiana is a consulting company dedicated to epidemiology and biostatistics, designing and conducting real-world studies in the healthcare field. Horiana aims to support its clients – private and public/academic professionals – at all stages of their projects.
Within the Secondary Databases department, you will be in charge of statistical analyses of epidemiological studies based on secondary databases (SNDS, PMSI, data warehouses, etc.). The position is based in Bordeaux (33) or remotely, depending on the profile of the candidate
Profile
- A MSc or PhD degree in applied statistics in the fields of health or life sciences
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in RWS in a CRO, pharma or academic environment
- Strong statistical programming skills (SAS / R as a minimum)
- Experience in the use of French (SNDS, PMSI) or any other claims data would be a plus
- Interest for data visualization
- Proficiency in French and English
- Team spirit
- Autonomy, organization skills, and ability to identify priorities

Missions
- Identification of relevant designs and statistical analyses to be implemented
- Data management and programming of statistical analyses
- Writing and reviewing of study documentation (methodology sections of synopsis and protocols, statistical analysis plans, statistical reports, etc.)
- Preparation of meetings and presentation of statistical results
- Writing/participation in the drafting of standard or specific operating procedures
- Continuous development of personal scientific skills to keep up to date with scientific progress
